Thomas Chirappurath: a Catholic priest, a member of the religious order of the Carmelites of Mary
Immaculate (CMI) which was founded by St Kuriakose Elias Chavara (1805-1871). Fr Chirappurath
has been teaching philosophy and religion since 1996. Gandhi and Vinoba have been sources of im-
